WHAT WE DO

We are a nonprofit organization that provides charitable assistance to disadvantaged children in Venezuela through health and education.

HEALTH

Through our health program in Venezuela we are able to identify what the most urgent needs are so we can provide the patient with respective treatment. In addition, we have a team that manages and monitors the Health Centers, labor & delivery, and oversees the administration of medicines and other supplies. These immediate measures provide help to patients, while improving their recovery, and making it possible to perform surgery and other procedures needed to save their lives.

EDUCATION

We are firm believers that education is the principal tool for our country’s development. We started this organization at the end of 2017 with the sole objective of providing one daily balanced meal to students in schools located in low-income areas of Venezuela. This meal has two intentions; one is to help the children receive nutrition to grow and the second is to create an incentive for them to attend school and thus giving them the opportunity for a better future. These meals provided by FRIENDS also help families that struggle to feed their children and boost the country’s economy.

The main idea is to devote all the resources raised by the program for the purchase of the ingredients that are necessary to prepare the children’s meals. Our volunteers who buy the food, cook it, prepare the meals and serve the children are student volunteers, which is crucial so that we can allocate the resources exclusively for the creation of the meals and, at the same time, involve the whole educational community in our mission.

It’s a privilege to count on many people who work with love in one direction to dedicate themselves to others.
